WaterProof Concrete LATEX 90 is Emulsion polymer for gluing new concrete to old and making impermeable mortar

Description :

LATEX 90  is a thick and homogenous polymer emulsion that is made on the basis of vinyl acetate resins and is used to increase the adhesion of mortar and to stick a new layer of concrete on the old layer, to repair the previous layer and to seal the structures. As a result of the reaction with water and cement, this substance, in addition to creating adhesive properties, creates cohesion and cohesion in the texture of concrete. G90 dissolves after mixing with water, but becomes insoluble and impenetrable after drying.

Consumption :

Additive G90 is used in the amount of 5 to 10% of cement weight.

To adhesive two layers of concrete, one unit of adhesive is mixed with one unit of water.

The exact amount of adhesive depends on the granulation, the level of penetration of the surface and the water used. The best estimate is the workshop tests.

Method of Use :

Before using LATEX 90, the damaged surface of the concrete should be cleaned from any loose elements, dust and grease, and then thoroughly watered with fresh water. There are two ways to use this product.

1- As concrete adhesive slurry: First, mix the calculated amount of adhesive (20%) with water (20%) and cement (60%) and make a homogeneous slurry. Then spread 1 to 2 mm thick grout on the surface.

2- As a repair mortar: mix 10 to 40% with dry ingredients instead of water and make a homogeneous mortar. Irrigate the surface of the old concrete with fresh water and then (without running water on the surface of the old concrete) apply a layer of adhesive for the adhesion of the new mortar to the desired surface and then apply the mortar on the concrete surface.

Maintenance  :

It can be stored in the original packaging and in a covered warehouse away from direct sunlight at a temperature of 10-40 °C for one year after the date of manufacture.

This material is not flammable and is not harmful to the environment. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of eye contact, wash with plenty of water. It is recommended to use protective glasses and gloves while working.
