Concrete Aerator AIR C100

Creating bubbles and reducing permeability and increasing the life of concrete in cold and frost.

Category:
Share:

AIR C100 concrete aerator is used in concrete with the purpose of creating controlled and separated microscopic bubbles. The use of this material increases the resistance of concrete against the stresses caused by expansion and contraction due to melting and freezing of water and swelling caused by the reaction of alkaline materials. There is separation, it is useful.

Physical and chemical properties

physical state                    liquid

Tinner                                  water

Color                                   Brown

Density                                1.01  gr/cm³

Properties and effects:

  • Increasing the durability of concrete
  • Increasing efficiency and adhesion of concrete
  • Increased resistance to salt crystallization
  • Increasing concrete resistance against melting and freezing cycles
  • Reducing the water consumption of concrete without reducing efficiency
  • Reducing the permeability of concrete
  • Prevent concrete from cracking
  • Preventing harmful spills

Application:

  • Concreting in cold areas
  • Concrete structures exposed to alkaline corrosion
  •  Concreting in cold stores, dams and docks
  • Concreting of commuting passages, roads and highways
  • Concreting prefabricated parts such as highway and street tables

In accordance with the standards:

ISIRI 2930 – ASTM C 233 – ASTM C666 – ASTM C260 – EN 934-2

Amount of consumption:

The optimal consumption of AIR C100 is determined according to workshop tests and mixing plan (amount and type of cement, sand, water and other materials) and air temperature and determined resistances. The dosage is between 0.2 and 0.4% of the weight of the cement used.

Usage method:

AIR C100 is mixed with some concrete water and then added to the ready concrete.

The time of mixing and reaching the appropriate rheology varies according to the volume of cement. 1 minute of mixing time is required per cubic meter.

No additive should be poured directly on cement or dry stone materials.

Maintenance conditions:

It can be stored in the original packaging and in a covered warehouse away from direct sunlight at a temperature of 10-30 °C for one year after the date of manufacture.

Type of packaging:

20 kg gallon

Safety tips:

This material is not flammable and is not harmful to the environment. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes, wash with plenty of fresh water. It is recommended to use protective glasses and gloves while working. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
